I had a quiet, steady unraveling.

Not the dramatic kind with ash and tears— but the subtle ache of success without soul.

For decades, I played the game well.
Creative director. Sales leader. Entrepreneur. Public servant. I wore the titles. Checked the boxes. Solved the problems. From the outside, everything looked “right.”

But inside?

I felt split—performing someone else’s idea of success while slowly forgetting what I knew as a child:
There’s more.
More truth.
More clarity.
More me.

Me at 5. Curious, happy, wise beyond my years.

The Return to Knowing

That deep inner voice—the one I’d buried under performance and approval - didn’t disappear.

It waited. Until one day, I was still enough to hear it again.

There was no dramatic collapse. Just a rising clarity that said: This isn’t who you came here to be.

So I listened. And the unraveling gave way to remembering.
Not who I could become…but who I already was.

That became my life’s work:

Why I Do This Work
